4.7 Preformatted Blocks

A preformatted block is a sequence of lines beginning by ‘>’. Lines of a preformatted blocks are not formatted and are printed in a fixed-font.

     Example: Preformatted block  
      1  This is normal text.
      2  > This is
      3  >   a **preformatted**
      4  >     text.
